Daniel Larson Abandoned in Colorado Springs: Walgreens Incident

On October 20th, 2022, following a road trip that began in Denver, Daniel Larson found himself in a precarious situation after being abandoned at a Colorado Springs Walgreens by a TikToker named “@wyattgrueter¹”, whose account has since been deleted.

The Day Before: October 19th, 2022

On October 19th, Daniel met Wyatt and his friends at a Dave & Busters in Colorado. This meetup was prompted by a now-lost TikTok video in which Daniel invited his fans to join him for some fun. Wyatt and his alleged business partner, Jesse, responded to Daniel’s post and met up with him there. 

After a short while, Daniel posted several TikToks from inside Wyatt’s car, including one video where a bong was seen being passed around, suggesting he may have consumed marijuana. He then stayed with Wyatt and his friends in a hotel room, where he continued to create TikTok content. One of these videos featured Daniel attempting to look cool while using the Kanye West song “New Slaves.”

Roadtrip & Abandonment at Walgreens: October 20th, 2022

On the morning of October 20, 2022, Wyatt and his friends brought Daniel Larson to the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs for hiking and sightseeing. As the day went on, Wyatt and his friend began to make lighthearted jokes about Daniel, shouting to random bystanders about Daniel’s “2 million TikTok followers” and his “fame.” Daniel appeared embarrassed and quickly grew frustrated with their antics. His stress and agitation continued to escalate throughout the day. In several TikToks uploaded during the trip, Daniel was seen punching his phone and expressing his frustration with the group. At one point, he even demanded to be taken back to Denver.

Daniel’s paranoia peaked when he suspected that Wyatt and his friends were driving him around in circles, saying “This is the cliff that we just passed, so why are we going like…” and “Seems like we’re just going in circles.”. To ease his concerns, they pulled over at a Walgreens. However, after sending Daniel inside, the group abandoned him without warning. Visibly dismayed, Daniel expressed his frustration: “Okay, where did they go? I’m literally going to laugh when their car runs out of gas, and they have no gas money to do anything. They’re just sitting on the side of the road, and I’m just gonna laugh my head off.”

Realizing he was stranded and missing belongings, Daniel said, “Also, they stole my phone charger as well, so they stole some of my money.” Confused and upset, he questioned the events: “What the fuck just happened? Did they just bring me to Colorado Springs, we got a hotel room, and then they took me to Walgreens? They get kicked out of their mother’s house, so now they’re living on the street homeless, and literally just left me here in Colorado Springs with court in just a couple of days, and no way to get home? Like, what is going on?”

Feeling desperate, Daniel also threatened legal action: “They’re going to need to come back in the next 5 minutes. If they’re not here in 5 minutes, I’m calling the police and filing a report.” 

Daniel’s Journey Back To Denver: October 21st, 2022

After coming to terms with being stranded in Colorado Springs but needing to return for his court appearance, Daniel decided against buying a bus ticket and instead embarked on a perilous seventy-mile journey back to Denver on foot.

He claimed to have walked over fifty miles that night, although followers of the Larson lore estimated the distance to be closer to twenty miles—a remarkable feat considering he began his journey on the evening of October 20th, 2022. Daniel made it as far as Monument, Colorado, where he posted a TikTok of himself sipping on an iced coffee at the Coffee Cup Cafe.

Soon after, several fans came to his rescue, bringing him back to Denver and even listening to his music on the way. This rescue was also documented on Reddit.

Wyatt later clarified the situation, explaining how he met Daniel in Denver during a business trip for his clothing brand. Initially believing in Daniel’s potential, Wyatt ensured his safety. However, due to problematic behavior and discovering Daniel’s prior indiscretions (most likely Daniel’s predatory tendencies), Wyatt left Daniel in a safe neighborhood with provisions. He emphasized having no further affiliation with Daniel and hopes for his safety, but he is firm in his decision never to interact with him again.

The next day I found out of his impunities and I dropped him off safely in a nice neighborhood with food and water and money. Serious Allegations Against Wyatt

On October 21st, 2022, a TikTok user named Elizabeth, with the handle @tthymee, made serious allegations of grooming and sexual assault against Wyatt, stating that she was underage at the time. She claimed that Wyatt “sexually assaulted every single female he’s met” and alleged that there are over 15 victims, including his sister and half-sister. Unfortunately, the community’s reaction hasn’t been well documented, and Wyatt has not issued a known statement. In response, the r/Daniellarson subreddit banned all discussions and doxing attempts related to Wyatt.
