The Cheesecake Factory
after getting kicked out1
On July 6th, 2022, a Reddit user known as u/Monkeyman56783, also referred to as the “Daniel Larson Hunter” within the r/Daniellarson subreddit, uploaded a three-part documentary-style interview with Daniel Larson. The interview, which lasted around 12 minutes, focused on Daniel’s music career.
The original meeting took place at a Cheesecake Factory, but they were kicked out due to Daniel having an unpaid tab, which he claimed his caretaker was supposed to settle.
Monkeyman, a 14 year old minor who should not have been around Daniel given his history, was accompanied by his grandfather. The grandfather seemed like he wasn’t aware of Daniel’s past, including his history of pedophilia.
Preparation
In late June, u/Monkeyman56783 posted on the r/Daniellarson subreddit, seeking information on how to locate Daniel in Denver. Most commenters dismissed the post’s authenticity, suggesting unlikely places to find Daniel.
The Interview
The interview was primarily conducted by the young u/Monkeyman56783, with occasional input from his grandfather.
“How long does it take to make your music?”
Daniel stated it takes 3-4 full days.
“Why are your songs so spread out?”
He explained that each song costs around $3,000 to $4,000 to produce.
“When is your next song coming out?”
He anticipated a release before December 2022, with October being the earliest.
“Who funds your music if you’ve made only $400?”
Daniel mentioned that Bob Proctor was funding his music but would not continue past the current song.
“Who is your team and who is your producer?”
For his song “Roaring Thunder,” Daniel claimed he was solely responsible.
